Original Australian Impressionist Painting by Cass Walsh
ORIGINAL ACRYLIC PAINTING ON STRETCHED CANVAS - 40cm x 50cm
"Day's End at Hill End"
Hill End, an historic gold mining town located in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia was once a hub of artistic activity in Australia. In the 1940s and 1950s, Hill End became known as a gathering place for artists, writers, and poets who were drawn to the town's unique landscape and history. The group of artists who gathered in Hill End during this time became known as the "Hill End School", and their work is now considered an important part of Australia's art history.
This painting was done as part of an online workshop run by the highly regarded Australian impressionist artist, Kasey Sealy.
This piece has been hand painted onto stretched canvas and comes in a floating frame (white, black or natural).
