Meet the Artist: New In-Gallery Days Begin This February

We’re excited to introduce a new addition to life at Scapes of Art — Meet the Artist days, launching this February. These special in-gallery moments give visitors the chance to slow down, connect, and hear the stories behind the artworks directly from the artists themselves.

Kicking things off on Saturday 21 February, Jimbo Green, the creative force behind Jimbo's Metal Art, will be in the gallery. Known for his bold metal sculptures and distinctive pelican forms made from reclaimed materials, Jimbo’s work is full of character, humour and craftsmanship. It’s a great opportunity to chat with him about his process, inspiration and the stories woven into each piece.

We’re also pleased to share that Felicity Bates, the incredible talent behind Felicity Bates Art, will be joining us in-gallery soon, with her Meet the Artist day to be announced (TBA). Felicity’s expressive seascapes capture the movement, light and emotion of the Central Coast coastline — and meeting her adds an extra layer of meaning to the work.

These days are relaxed, welcoming and open to everyone — whether you’re an art collector, a curious browser, or simply love hearing creative stories first-hand.
