This beautiful Black & White Photograph captures the detail of the fog rising over Lake Lyell, Lithgow as the sun breaks through. 

The stillness of the water with the reflections draws the eye into the mountain range searching for detail hidden on the ridge line in the fog. 

It was a cool morning standing lakeside, waiting for the light and fog to mix just right for the capture. Revealing enough yet concealing in order to draw you in.

 Black & White images simplify the viewing pleasure, often eliminating the noise of colour, the Black & White frees the eye to see the detail and to enjoy the simplicity of the view.
