📖 The Story Behind the Shot

During my travels across Victoria, I was drawn to the unique landscape of Lake Tyrrell — Australia’s largest salt lake and a sacred site for the local Wotjobaluk people. At sunrise, the water transforms into a perfect mirror, blurring the line between reality and reflection. Hovering the drone above, I wanted to showcase the symmetry, scale, and stillness that define this breathtaking place. The balance of human structure and nature’s artistry created a composition that feels otherworldly.
